What I did is export my 2D sketch in DXF format, opened it up in Illustrator and saved it as both a DWG and PDF file which in either case is not usable to them.
My manufacturer needs a dwg file to program their water jet cutter to generate the necessary g-code. I have a similar problem to the first comment but it is Fusion 360 to AutoCAD Lt.
